The Wa`a (Canoe)
Our canoes are the heart of our club they carry not just paddlers, but the spirit of our community and our connection to Polynesian voyaging culture. In that tradition, each canoe is given a name because it is more than equipment; it is a member of our paddling ohana (family). A named canoe has an identity and a story, and paddlers develop a real bond with the vessel they train and compete in. When you step into one of our canoes, you become part of its legacy.
