Change of Location
Major renovations at both of our parks on the bay require a change of venue. This year, the BBOP Classic will be held at Bloedel-Donovan Park on the scenic Lake Whatcom, with plenty of parking, room for vendors, a beer garden, kids' play area, and tree-covered lawn to enjoy your Hawaiian plate lunch! The change in venue is only for this year!
In addition to the usual divisions in a long course, we're also planning events for keiki and their families to enjoy! We're planning a short course for keiki, starting about 15 minutes after the men's race begins, as an "out and back" across the lake, allowing spectators to enjoy the full competition.
